An example of how our product structure works for a
contractor working in the UK:
A consultant resident in the UK but not
ordinarily resident
contracts with GRS (a company outside the UK) for services,
receiving an amount (negotiated with GRS) taxable under the self
employment rules. The consultant additionally receives a shareholding
in an offshore company and receives a dividend from those
shares. Dividend payments not remitted into the UK do not incur a UK
tax liability.
